The Bereavement Register
Regrettably, direct mail sent to people who have
died causes distress and serves only as an unfortunate reminder
of their sad loss.
Launched in the UK in 2000, The Bereavement Register
is a service specifically designed to remove from databases and
mailing files, the names and addresses of people who have died.
The aim of the register is to put an end to most of the direct mail
that the recently departed “would” have received.
At this difficult time you will want to remember
the good times with fondness, you will not want to be bombarded
by badly targeted direct mail to someone who has recently passed
away.
For a Free information leaflet and application
form please telephone 0800 028 4808 or call in for a pack at any
of our four funeral homes.
